Restoration Rate Reaches 20.4% as of 6 a.m. on October 5
Out of the 647 administrative information systems paralyzed by the fire at the National Information Resources Service (NIRS), 132 have been restored.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, as of 6 a.m. on October 5, 2025, the tenth day since the NIRS fire caused disruptions, the restoration rate stands at 20.4%. This marks a 0.3 percentage point increase from the previous day. Among the restored systems, 22 are classified as first-grade work systems.
With the partial restoration of Onmail, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's work email system, and the mobile government employee ID, the efficiency of government officials' work is expected to improve.
The government is mobilizing all available personnel and equipment to continue restoration efforts throughout the holiday period.
