About a year ago, after losing his first wife, Sangruram lived alone, working as a farmer. With no children of his own, he met Manbabhati, a 35-year-old widow, and decided to spend the rest of his life with her. On May 29 (local time), they registered their marriage at the local court and held a traditional wedding ceremony at a local temple.

The morning after the wedding, Sangruram woke his wife from sleep and appeared to be in normal condition at first, but his health rapidly deteriorated soon afterward.

Manbabhati asked a young neighbor to call a doctor. After examining Sangruram, the doctor advised that he be taken to a nearby hospital. Manbabhati and the neighbor took Sangruram to the hospital, but he ultimately passed away.

Upon hearing the news of his uncle's death, Sangruram's nephew, who lives in Delhi, about 500 kilometers from Kuchimuchi, immediately called to prevent the cremation of the body. He later arrived in Kuchimuchi and requested an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Manbabhati stated that her husband had been in very good health until the morning of his death. She said that her elderly husband had promised to transfer all his assets to her name if he passed away, and had also pledged to set aside 100,000 rupees (approximately 1.6 million won) for each of her three children. Unlike Sangruram, who had no children, Manbabhati has two daughters and one son.
