Workers at 14 airports nationwide, including Gimpo Airport, will conditionally suspend their strike and return to work. However, workers at Incheon International Airport will continue their strike.

On October 4, the National Airport Workers' Solidarity announced in a press release, "We will return to work from today (the 4th) until the 14th, when the Presidential Office is scheduled to meet with Korea Airports Corporation." However, they added, "If there is no responsible response from the government and related agencies after the meeting, we will launch another full strike on the 15th."
Instead of continuing the strike, they plan to engage in a work-to-rule campaign. For example, they will inform airport visitors of the purpose of the strike through picketing.
In contrast, the Incheon Airport Branch of the Korean Public Service and Transport Workers' Union, which represents workers at Incheon International Airport, plans to continue its full strike throughout the Chuseok holiday period.
