Daejeon City, which recently launched its first Dreamssi Family collaboration merchandise, will host the "Eternal Return Masters Season 8 Finals" and the "Korea e-Sports League (KEL)" finals at the Daejeon e-Sports Stadium for three days from October 10 to 12, 2025.

After successfully securing the hosting rights for the regular season of Eternal Return, the Masters Series, in January this year, the city further solidified its position as a leading domestic e-sports hub by also securing the final round of the KEL, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Masters Season 8 Finals will be held on October 10 and 12, while the KEL finals will take place on October 11.

The Eternal Return Masters Season 8 Finals will feature a total of 12 teams and 36 players competing to determine the nation's strongest team. The total prize pool is 21 million won, with 8 million won awarded to the champion and 4 million won to the runner-up.

The Korea e-Sports League (KEL) finals, a region-based e-sports league launched for the first time this year, featured 14 regional teams from across the country who competed in preliminary rounds at various e-sports stadiums over the past five months since May. The grand journey concludes with this final match in Daejeon, with a total prize pool of 50 million won.

At this event, Daejeon City and Nimbleneuron will collaborate to launch the first "Dreamssi Family × Eternal Return" merchandise. This is the second character merchandise collaboration with e-sports, following Krafton.

Main items include the Dreamdreamdori Korotto 4-piece set and the Devi and Marlene acrylic stands holding Dreamdori, which will be available at the on-site Dreamdori goods shop and the official Eternal Return goods shop. After the tournament, these items will also be available at the Daejeon City Dreamdori goods shop.

In July, the city signed a merchandise branding agreement with Daejeon Tourism Organization, Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and Nimbleneuron. During the event, a "Lumia Night Market" goods zone, food truck zone, and experience zone will be operated for on-site spectators.

Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, stated, "Daejeon is firmly establishing itself as the capital of e-sports," and added, "By joining forces with the rapidly growing Eternal Return, we will continue to develop Daejeon as the central city of the e-sports industry."
