President Lee Jaemyung encouraged police officers who are dedicating themselves to public safety without rest during the Chuseok holiday.

On October 3, Presidential Spokesperson Kim Namjun stated in a written briefing that President Lee visited the Yaksu Police Precinct in Jung-gu, Seoul, that afternoon, where he was briefed on general operations and public safety activities during the holiday period.


During the visit, President Lee expressed his appreciation for the hard work of frontline police officers, urging them to do their utmost to create a society where people can live safely. He also emphasized that thanks to police officers who are doing their best for public safety even during the holiday, when they should be spending time with their families, everyone can enjoy a safe and peaceful holiday. President Lee promised to provide full support so that police officers can take pride in and focus on their duties.


Meanwhile, Spokesperson Kim explained that President Lee expressed his deep gratitude to all those, including police officers, who are devotedly fulfilling their responsibilities behind the scenes to ensure a peaceful holiday for everyone.
