Eight Experience Vomiting After Eating Mushrooms at Haenam Restaurant... Hospitalized

Eight people were taken to the hospital after experiencing symptoms such as vomiting following the consumption of mushrooms at a restaurant in Haenam, South Jeolla Province.

According to the South Jeolla Fire Headquarters on October 3, six people who had dined at a raw fish restaurant in Hwawon-myeon, Haenam County, reported abdominal pain and vomiting after returning home around 8:32 p.m. the previous day. Each of them called emergency services and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Two other members of the same group, who had dined together, also visited the hospital on their own with similar symptoms.

All of the patients are in stable condition and their lives are not in danger. Health authorities are investigating the exact cause of the incident, based on statements that all affected individuals had consumed mushrooms.
