Oh Hyeongyeol, Chairman of Hwasun County Council
Oh Hyeongyeol, Chairman of Hwasun County Council, extended his holiday greetings to local residents on October 2, ahead of Chuseok, the nation's most significant traditional holiday.
Chairman Oh stated, "In this bountiful autumn season, as the fields are filled with ripening grains and fruits, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every county resident as we welcome Chuseok, the greatest holiday of our people." He continued, "I hope you will take a break from your busy daily routines, gather with your families and neighbors, and enjoy a warm and happy holiday together."
He went on to say, "We are facing major transitions and challenges across our society," and explained, "As the newly launched government accelerates the implementation of policies such as the introduction of basic income, the recovery of livelihoods, and balanced regional development, the roles of local governments and local councils have become more important than ever."
He added, "Hwasun County Council is also making every effort to provide institutional support so that these policies can take root properly in our region. We will not settle for what we have achieved so far, but will continue to engage in practical and sincere legislative activities during the remainder of our term, repaying your trust and working together to create a better future for Hwasun."
In conclusion, Chairman Oh said, "As the saying goes, 'May every day be just like Chuseok, neither more nor less,' I hope that, at least during this Chuseok, you can set aside all your worries and enjoy a generous holiday filled with laughter and warmth under the full moon."
