Goyang City Unveils Chuseok Full Moon at Ilsan Lake Park: "Make a Wish Under the Full Moon"

Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on October 2 that, in celebration of Chuseok, it had installed a large full moon sculpture with a diameter of approximately 5 meters, along with a rabbit-shaped sculpture, at Hanul Plaza in Ilsan Lake Park to wish citizens health and happiness.

With its lighting feature, the installation appears even more beautiful at night, harmonizing with the scenic views of the lake.

Visitors commented, "It fits perfectly with Ilsan Lake Park," and "It brings back memories of the old stories my grandmother used to tell me when I was a child."

The city plans to operate the full moon and rabbit sculptures as a photo zone where visitors can create memories, keeping the installation in place throughout the month of October.

A Goyang Special City official stated, "We hope that visitors to Ilsan Lake Park during the Chuseok holiday will wish for health, happiness, and the fulfillment of their wishes as they view the full moon and rabbit. We will continue to develop creative ideas to further enhance the satisfaction of park visitors in the future."
