We Actually Tried 'Deullak Nallak'... Busan City Unveils Parenting Influencer Web Variety Show for the First Time

Jjoonine TV and Ramo Couple Appear,
Sharing Their Experiences at Deullak Nallak

Busan Metropolitan City has produced and released a web variety show featuring parenting influencers, centered around the Busan Children's Complex Cultural Space 'Deullak Nallak.'

On October 1, the city announced that it had introduced the web variety show 'Busan Marble Deullak Nallak' through its official YouTube channel. This content was planned to promote Busan as the 'No. 1 city for children's quality of life and a great place to raise kids,' and to showcase the value and appeal of Deullak Nallak. Last year, in a survey conducted by Save the Children and the Seoul National University Welfare Research Institute, Busan was ranked as the best city in Korea for children to live in. Currently, there are a total of 107 Deullak Nallak centers operating throughout Busan.

The content features parenting influencers 'Jjoonine TV' (149,000 subscribers) and 'Ramo Couple' (161,000 subscribers). The format involves real parents and children visiting Deullak Nallak, sharing their experiences with an entertaining twist. Jjoonine TV is a channel run by firefighter Jang Sung-ho, focusing on the daily life and travels of him and his three sons, while Ramo Couple shares the growth of their 4-year-old daughter Kim Arin and their journey of co-parenting, resonating with many viewers.

This web variety show was produced as a three-episode series. It covers six Deullak Nallak locations: Busan Cinema Center, Yeonje Comic Library, Yeongdo Resource Circulation Center, Busan 119 Safety Experience Center, Seogu Forest Playground, and Andersen Story Hall, delivering a variety of themes including culture, experience, environment, and safety.

The participants also shared their impressions. Park Sora of Ramo Couple said, "Seeing and experiencing the waste separation process firsthand at the Yeongdo Resource Circulation Center was very educational for our child." Jang Sung-ho of Jjoonine TV remarked, "The forest playground, designed in harmony with nature, was especially impressive. Each place was carefully prepared, allowing us to spend happy moments with our children."

Jang Sung-ho donated his entire appearance fee for this shoot to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. He stated, "As a father raising three sons and as a firefighter, I wanted to contribute to the safety of the public and children." The donation, delivered through a ceremony on September 30, will be used to support fire safety supplies for children from vulnerable families.

Won Youngil, spokesperson for Busan Metropolitan City, emphasized, "We will create an environment where children can grow up safely and happily, with Deullak Nallak at the center," adding, "We will continue to expand participatory content involving citizens."
