Yangsan City to Operate '2025 Autumn Yangsan City Tour'

A Day Trip Following the Trails of History and Nature

Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province will operate the '2025 Autumn Yangsan City Tour,' offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy both history and nature amid the deepening autumn atmosphere.

This tour will be conducted over a total of six sessions, divided into a historical and cultural course (October 24-26) and a nature tourism course (October 31-November 2).

The historical and cultural course begins at the Yangsan City Museum and the Bukjeong and Singi Ancient Tombs. Participants will then visit the traditional Nam-bu Market, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tongdosa Temple, the Mupunhansong-gil Trail, and Hwangsan Park, which is filled with the fragrance of chrysanthemums, providing a systematic experience of Yangsan's history and culture.

The nature tourism course starts at Hwangsan Park, where the Chrysanthemum Festival is held, and continues to Hongryong Falls, known for its refreshing streams, and Beopgi Reservoir, surrounded by dense forests and clear lakes. This itinerary allows participants to fully enjoy Yangsan’s pristine natural beauty amid the autumn scenery.

A cultural tourism commentator will accompany all courses, adding depth to the travel experience.

Applications can be submitted online through the 'City Tour' page on the Yangsan City Culture, Tourism, and Sports website. The application period for the historical and cultural course is from October 15 to 22, while the nature tourism course is open for applications from October 22 to 29. Participation fees are 3,000 won for adults, 1,000 won for youths, and free of charge for preschool children.

A city official stated, "We ask for your interest and participation in this program, which encompasses history, nature, and culture," and added, "We plan to continue actively promoting local tourism resources through various themed city tours in the future."
