Muan County in South Jeolla Province participated in the "2025 Health Promotion Physical Activity Competition," organized by South Jeolla Province, at the "2025 Korea Integrative Medicine Expo" held in Jangheung on September 29, and received the Encouragement Award.

This competition brought together public health centers from 22 cities and counties in the province, each presenting unique health promotion programs tailored to their regions. The event aimed to spread healthy living practices among residents and foster unity between local communities.

Under the theme "Connecting Generations, Connecting Cultures," multicultural families and seniors with an average age of 85 took the stage together. After continuous practice, the team delivered a passionate performance, earning enthusiastic responses from the audience and high praise from the judges for their vibrant rhythm and energy.

During the expo, the county also operated various hands-on programs, including a health experience booth and local agricultural specialty promotions, attracting significant interest from visitors.

Kim Seongcheol, Director of the Muan Public Health Center, said, "The spirit of challenge and passion shown by the seniors deeply moved all county residents. We will continue to operate diverse programs to promote senior health and build a vibrant local community, striving to establish Muan as a healthy city."
