Morning Lows of 13-19°C, Highs Reaching 24-29°C
On Wednesday, October 1, most regions across the country are expected to see generally clear skies, with a significant temperature difference of around 10 degrees Celsius between day and night.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, dense fog is forecast to form in some inland areas nationwide, the southern coast of Gyeonggi Province, the mountainous regions of Gangwon Province, and the western coast of South Chungcheong Province from early morning until around sunrise.
Morning lows are expected to range from 13 to 19 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will be between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. Specifically, the morning low will be 15 degrees in Daejeon, Jeonju, and Gwangju; 17 degrees in Seoul, Daegu, Pohang, and Changwon; 18 degrees in Incheon and Yeosu; 19 degrees in Busan; and 21 degrees in Jeju. For the time being, inland areas will continue to experience a large temperature gap of around 10 degrees Celsius between day and night.
Inland areas of the central region will see mostly cloudy skies at times in the afternoon, and some parts of northern Gyeonggi Province may experience brief showers of about 5 millimeters between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Except for Seoul, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected from early morning until sunrise in inland areas nationwide, the southern coast of Gyeonggi Province, the mountainous regions of Gangwon Province, and the western coast of South Chungcheong Province. Caution is advised for road safety and transportation.
Fine dust concentrations will remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide, thanks to smooth atmospheric circulation.
Waves on the sea are expected to reach 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the east and south coasts, and 0.5 meters off the west coast. In the outer seas (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
