Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju and Dong District Council of Busan Hold Friendship Exchange Event

The Gwangsan District Council in Gwangju (Chairman Kim Myungsoo) and the Dong District Council in Busan (Chairman Ahn Jongwon) held the 24th Sister District Council Friendship Exchange Event. Hosted by the Gwangsan District Council, the event took place in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, for two days starting on September 29, with more than 50 participants, including council members and staff from both councils.

The participants visited advanced sites in the fields of urban regeneration, tourism, and culture, and shared their experiences. They also discussed ways to incorporate artificial intelligence technology into future legislative activities through a competency training session utilizing ChatGPT.

Chairman Kim Myungsoo stated, "It was a meaningful time to build trust with the Dong District Council in Busan and to support each other's legislative activities," adding, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation between the two councils through ongoing exchanges in the future."
