Up to 20 Million Won Limit
For Foreign Workers Residing in Korea
Shinhan Bank launched the 'SOL Global Loan,' a credit loan product exclusively for foreign workers, on September 30, 2025.
The 'SOL Global Loan' is available to foreign workers who have received their salary from Shinhan Bank for three consecutive months. Applicants must meet the residency status requirements (E9, E7, F2, F5) and have more than six months remaining on their stay. The maximum loan amount is 20 million won, and the loan period ranges from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 36 months.
Loans can be applied for at branches and through the mobile application 'Shinhan SOL Bank.' The loan service will also be available on Shinhan Bank's dedicated app for foreign customers, 'SOL Global,' in the near future.
In addition, to commemorate the launch, all customers who apply for a loan limit inquiry by November 30 will receive a 5,000 won CU convenience store gifticon.
A Shinhan Bank representative stated, "We will continue to expand customized services for foreign customers to further enhance customer convenience."
Since July, Shinhan Bank has been operating Sunday business hours at its Dongdaemun branch·Suwon Station branch·and Onyang Financial Center, and is currently running foreigner-focused branches in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do; Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul; and Ansan, Gyeonggi-do.
