Operating Healthy Family Projects and Multicultural Family Support for Five Years

The Siheung City Family Center is a regional hub social welfare facility that provides comprehensive family services such as family counseling, education, childcare, and support for multicultural families. It was established to respond to changing family structures, including low birth rates, a super-aged society, and the increase in single-person and multicultural households.

Eligible applicants include social welfare corporations, non-profit organizations or groups, and schools with expertise in healthy family projects and multicultural family support. The city will finalize the consignment agency through a review by the Private Consignment Review Committee. The selected agency will be responsible for operating the center for five years, from December 2025 to November 2030.

Organizations or groups wishing to participate should review the announcement on the Siheung City Hall website and submit the required documents in person to the Foreign Residents and Multicultural Family Support Team at Siheung City Hall.

Lim Byeongtaek, Mayor of Siheung City, stated, "We will select an agency with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility so that the center can become a reliable support hub that meets the diverse welfare needs of our citizens."
