Over 150 Participants from the Construction, Hotel, and Retail Industries
On September 29, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it had successfully held the "Pyeongtaek Jije Station Future-Oriented Complex Transfer Center Investment Briefing" at the Peace and Park Convention Center in Seoul, with more than 150 attendees including executives and employees from the construction, hotel, and department store industries.

At the briefing, the city introduced the future development vision for Pyeongtaek Jije Station, which is set to benefit from the extension of the GTX-A and GTX-C lines to Pyeongtaek and the opening of the KTX line from Suwon. The city also outlined its plan to successfully establish the complex transfer center through active cooperation with relevant agencies.
Jeong Jangseon, mayor of Pyeongtaek, stated, "A new value that connects the Republic of Korea will begin at the 'Pyeongtaek Jije Station Future-Oriented Complex Transfer Center.' We will actively cooperate with relevant agencies to successfully carry out this project."
Starting with this investment briefing, the city plans to launch full-scale promotional activities to attract private investment, aiming for the successful selection of a project operator in the second half of next year.
