According to the Office for Government Policy Coordination, President Lee gave these instructions during a regular briefing with Prime Minister Kim, emphasizing, "Do your utmost to restore public services so that inconvenience to the people is minimized."

The government has decided to form the "AI Infrastructure Governance Innovation Task Force," co-led by the Presidential Secretary for Future AI Planning and a civilian member of the AI Strategy Committee, to investigate the incident and devise fundamental structural improvements for AI infrastructure operations. Experts in networks and systems, organization, and law will participate in the task force, which will work in collaboration with relevant ministries.

In addition, President Lee called on the Prime Minister to take full responsibility and mobilize the capabilities of all ministries to prepare for the "2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit" to be held in Gyeongju at the end of next month, emphasizing the need for agile, on-site responses, as the summit-an opportunity to showcase the K-Initiative to the world-is only about a month away.
