We will pursue and apprehend criminal organizations to the very end."

Acting Commissioner Yoo also stated, "To ensure that socially vulnerable groups are protected from relationship-based crimes such as stalking and dating violence, as well as crimes like the abduction and luring of minors, police station chiefs will take the lead in thoroughly overseeing and managing all aspects of case handling."

He added, "With the start of the Chuseok holiday, which can last up to ten days, we will strengthen preventive measures and responses to major crimes during this special public safety period."

Acting Commissioner Yoo further emphasized, "We will accelerate efforts for police reform. Centered around the Local Police Planning Team, we will develop and implement a concrete roadmap for the local police system, including the optimal plan suited to our circumstances and pilot operations."

Regarding prosecution reform, Acting Commissioner Yoo said, "The police will approach related discussions solely from the perspective of protecting the rights and interests of the public, recognizing that investigation is not a privilege but a responsibility and duty."
