Shinsegae Food's "Beckia Enovo Gastro" Attracts 40,000 Visitors in First Month of Opening

Shinsegae Food announced on September 29 that its premium deli brand, "Beckia Enovo Gastro," which was launched at the Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch, has surpassed 40,000 cumulative visitors within just one month of opening.


"Beckia Enovo Gastro" is a premium deli that offers more than 30 varieties of healthy gourmet dishes made with top-quality European ingredients and chef-crafted recipes.

The signature menu item, the "Gastro Salad," was developed as a dish that can be enjoyed as a healthy meal or paired with wine. Instead of typical leafy greens, it features premium plant ingredients such as artichoke, and uses healthy grains like farro, red quinoa, and chickpeas as its main components. Over the past month, more than 200 Gastro Salads have been sold per day on average, with cumulative sales exceeding 6,000 units.


Among the offerings, superfood salad menus such as "Farro Verde Beans," "Red Quinoa," and "Truffle Green" have become the third best-selling items, gaining significant popularity. In particular, the "Farro Verde Beans," which includes farro, feta cheese, green beans, and organic olive oil, accounts for 25% of total sales and has established itself as a popular menu item.


The "Dip Collection," introduced for the first time at a domestic department store, is also gaining popularity. The dipping sauces in the "Dip Collection" are made with bases such as chickpeas, eggplant, and Greek yogurt, and are notable for their high protein and dietary fiber content. Customers can enjoy three types of hummus-"Plain Hummus," "Beet Hummus," and "Avocado Hummus"-all developed by a chef with luxury hotel experience, as well as other dipping sauces such as mutabbal and tzatziki.


A representative from Shinsegae Food stated, "As demand for healthy food continues to rise, more than 40,000 people have visited Beckia Enovo Gastro in just one month, and our superfood-based menu items are gaining in popularity." The representative added, "By offering menus that reflect the finest ingredients and gourmet trends, we aim to remain a popular brand among department store customers and consumers pursuing a wellness lifestyle."
