Drones Spotted Repeatedly Over Danish Military Bases... Heightened Security Concerns

The Danish military stated in a press release that "drones were observed at several military bases between the night of the 27th and the 28th," but did not disclose further details. The military authorities also noted that drones had appeared over military bases the previous day as well.

Previously, on the 22nd, Copenhagen Airport was temporarily closed due to a drone incident. Similar cases have been occurring recently, particularly at airports and military bases across Denmark.

So far, the exact origin or intent of the drones has not been identified, but the Danish government has not ruled out the possibility of Russian involvement.

Meanwhile, security concerns are rising as an informal EU summit is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen on October 1, followed by the European Political Community (EPC) meeting on October 2, which will be attended by leaders from approximately 40 European countries.

In response, NATO announced that it has deployed additional reconnaissance and surveillance assets in the Baltic Sea area.
