The company has secured Flora, a global plant-based food manufacturer, as a client and plans to continuously expand its customer base by leveraging its accumulated cold chain expertise.
The center is optimized for intermodal transport, combining both land and rail logistics. The BNSF railway line, which connects the western and central regions of the United States, is directly linked to the center, enabling rapid transshipment of cargo. In addition, the CPKC railway, which connects Canada, the United States, and Mexico, is adjacent to the center, allowing for continent-wide transportation across North America. Through intermodal transport, it is possible to reach 85% of the United States within two days.
CJ Logistics has implemented an advanced warehouse management system that visualizes and manages complex inbound and outbound statuses and transportation processes in real time. This prevents logistics bottlenecks, increases inventory management accuracy, and enables detailed monitoring of the entire supply chain flow. With a transparent logistics process, customers can clearly monitor operational status, thereby enhancing the stability and predictability of supply chain management.
Since last year, CJ Logistics has been operating a multi-purpose logistics center with cold chain capabilities in Gainesville, Georgia, USA. Gainesville is the largest producer of frozen poultry in the United States and has very high demand for frozen logistics. While surrounding logistics centers are aging, CJ Logistics' newly built center with advanced systems is meeting the needs of various clients and strengthening its position as a leading company in cold chain logistics.
Kevin Coleman, CEO of CJ Logistics America, stated, "High value-added cold chain logistics requires stringent temperature control and quality maintenance throughout the entire process, so a high level of expertise and trust is essential. Based on our extensive network and advanced technology, we will provide optimized logistics solutions and further strengthen our leadership in the North American cold chain supply network."
