'Time to Change the World V' is a competition where volunteers take the stage to share special stories and experiences created through volunteer work. Eight presenters from across Gyeongsangnam-do participated and gave presentations.
Li Shaona delivered a heartfelt presentation titled "No Other Choice, How I Became a Volunteer," candidly sharing her life as an immigrant and her volunteer experiences within the local community, which deeply resonated with both the audience and the judges. In particular, her journey of growth alongside the immigrant community received enthusiastic support from the audience evaluation panel of over 200 people, earning her a high score.
Li Shaona expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am thankful to the staff of the Yangsan City Volunteer Center for encouraging me to stand on such a big stage. Having received this prestigious award, I will continue to engage in volunteer activities that benefit the local community together with fellow immigrants."
An official from the Yangsan City Volunteer Center stated, "Li Shaona's story is a valuable achievement that demonstrates how volunteering can transform an individual's life and, furthermore, strengthen the local community. We will continue to actively support a diverse range of citizens to participate in volunteer activities."
