Disruptions Expected for Future Operations
A Hangang Bus vessel traveling from Magok to Jamsil had to turn back mid-journey due to a rudder malfunction.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, at around 12:40 p.m. on the 26th, Hangang Bus No. 104 detected an issue with its rudder about 100 meters before passing under Gayang Bridge.

Once a problem with the starboard rudder was confirmed, a decision was made to immediately return for safety reasons. The vessel arrived back at Magok Pier at 12:50 p.m., ten minutes later, and all 70 passengers were safely disembarked.
All passengers were refunded their fares, and the vessel is currently undergoing inspection and repairs.
As a result, the 3:30 p.m. Jamsil-to-Magok and 6:00 p.m. Magok-to-Jamsil sailings have been canceled. The city stated that this information has been communicated to each pier and that guidance is being provided.
