Expanded Parking Discount at Cafe Pokpo
Seodaemun-gu in Seoul (Mayor Lee Sungheon) announced on September 26 that it will open the parking lots at the district office free of charge during the Chuseok holiday period to provide parking convenience for residents and visitors. In addition, the free parking time at the nearby 'Cafe Pokpo' will be extended.

This measure has been implemented to alleviate parking difficulties for those visiting Hongje Waterfall and Ansan, two of Seodaemun-gu's main attractions during the holiday, and to help revitalize the local commercial district.
The first annex parking lot at the district office (main building plaza, 57 spaces) and the third annex parking lot (168-15 Yeonhui-dong, 26 spaces) will be open free of charge 24 hours a day for 7 days, from October 3 to 9. The second annex parking lot (Hongje Waterfall Plaza, 72 spaces) will be free for one day only, on Chuseok day, October 6.
The free parking time for customers who make purchases at Cafe Pokpo will be extended from the previous 30 minutes to 1 hour. This will take effect from October 1, and the benefit can be received by presenting a receipt at the cafe counter or at the parking lot exit payment booth.
Lee Sungheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, stated, "I hope this will be of some help to those visiting Hongje Waterfall and Ansan during the Chuseok holiday, and we will continue to pursue policies that enhance convenience for our residents."
Meanwhile, Cafe Pokpo, which has established itself as a global healing spot in Seoul, operates year-round without closing. It will also be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the Chuseok holiday, including Chuseok day and weekends.
