Shinan County Council visited local social welfare facilities to celebrate the Chuseok holiday, delivering care packages and continuing to share warmth with the community.
On September 25, the council visited three locations: Shinan Orphanage, Shinan County Senior Nursing Home, and 1004 Bogumjari, where they delivered care packages and offered encouragement to both staff and residents. On this day, Chairman Lee Sangjoo expressed appreciation to the facility staff for their dedication and conveyed comfort and warmth to the residents.
This visit was more than just the delivery of goods; it was a meaningful occasion to reflect on the spirit of sharing the holiday with neighbors in need. It was reported that the bright smiles of the children and the gentle expressions of the seniors allowed everyone to feel the warmth of the holiday season.
Lee Sangjoo, Chairman of Shinan County Council, stated, "We will continue our efforts so that marginalized neighbors can feel even a bit of warmth during the holidays."
Meanwhile, the council continues its warm and community-oriented legislative activities by visiting local social welfare facilities and delivering care packages every year during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
