Muan County to Hold County Administration Development Idea Contest

Muan County in South Jeolla Province will hold the "2025 County Administration Development Idea Contest" to discover innovative and feasible ideas for the advancement of county administration.

According to the county on September 25, the contest will run from September 29 to October 20. Under the theme "Living in Muan, Muan Lives," the contest seeks ideas that can contribute to administrative innovation in four areas: population policy, job creation, disaster safety, and making Muan cleaner (environment).

Anyone interested in county administration can participate, and proposals can be submitted via the National Petition Portal, the Muan County website, mail, or email. The submitted proposals will go through a first and second round of evaluation, and the final outstanding proposals will be selected in December.

The awards will be as follows: 1 million won for the gold prize, 700,000 won for the silver prize, 500,000 won for the bronze prize, 300,000 won for the encouragement prize, and 100,000 won for the effort prize. The county aims to motivate idea generation and encourage participation through these incentives.

Lee Gwangjin, Director of Planning at Muan County, stated, "The creative ideas of our residents will become the driving force for Muan's future," adding, "We hope many people participate in the contest so that new momentum for county administration development can be created."
