This year, a total of 179 people, including experienced hires, joined Korea Zinc through its open recruitment process. With additional hiring planned, the total number of new hires is expected to reach 200.

Recently, to recruit new employees for the second half of 2025, Korea Zinc conducted a three-week “Campus Recruiting” program. During this initiative, Korea Zinc employees visited university campuses as recruiters to participate in job fairs and corporate briefing sessions for university students and job seekers. The company held job fairs at 13 universities and corporate briefing sessions at 4 universities.

To actively secure talent, Korea Zinc will soon launch its “2025 Second Half Open Recruitment for University Graduates” to select new employees for 2026. The company plans to post the recruitment announcement next month and officially welcome the new hires as full-time employees in January of next year.

Excluding affiliates and overseas subsidiaries, Korea Zinc’s domestic workforce (including headquarters and Onsan, totaling 2,060 employees) has seen 654 new hires over the past five years, accounting for 31.7% of the total staff.

A Korea Zinc representative stated, “As our role as a strategic mineral production base and a key partner in the global supply chain grows, the need for proactive investment and talent acquisition has become even more important. Korea Zinc will continue to do its utmost to secure talent and foster technical personnel in accordance with our talent management principles, in order to drive future growth.”
