Welcoming Visitors at a Large-Scale Booth at Tokyo Game Show
Smilegate announced on September 25 that its dark fantasy roguelike role-playing game (RPG) "Chaos Zero Nightmare" (hereafter "Kazena") will be launched globally on October 22.
On this day at 12:00 p.m., Smilegate released a video on Kazena's official YouTube channel and announced the launch schedule.
"Kazena" is in its final preparations for launch after a pre-play test held from September 18 to 21, which was participated in by global users. Developed by Super Creative, the game is set in a world where humanity has been overtaken by a being of chaos (Chaos). Players collect characters and form battle strategies by combining each character's unique "card deck."
Smilegate reported that the game received positive feedback from users for its dark science fiction fantasy-based world, the originality of its roguelike combat system utilizing "cards," and its striking animation effects. The rate of positive responses regarding gameplay reached 70%. Prior to launch, Smilegate plans to release a developer commentary video addressing user feedback.
"Kazena" will be showcased at the "Tokyo Game Show 2025," which is being held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan until September 28. The large-scale booth will feature a demo station for "Kazena," photo sessions with popular cosplay models, and various other events.

Based on the feedback from the test, we will further enhance the game's quality and do our utmost to deliver it on the promised schedule without any delays."
