Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that on the previous day, the county conducted on-site inspections at seven key community-oriented project sites directly related to the daily lives of residents. The sites inspected included seven projects: the remodeling of stage machinery at the Culture and Arts Center, the expansion of the integrated water purification plant, the construction of the Gapyeong park golf course, the widening and paving of Rural Road Route 206 (Changha Line), the creation of a children's play experience facility in the Cheongpyeong area, the remodeling of the customer support center at Jojong Market, and the development of the US-UK Commonwealth Tourism Security Park.
The county thoroughly examined the progress of each project, the appropriateness of budget execution, the construction status, and safety management practices. Officials also visited sites that have not yet begun construction to identify and address potential issues that could cause inconvenience to residents, seeking ways to improve them in advance. Through these efforts, the county aimed to prevent problems and enhance the overall quality of the projects.
In particular, for projects scheduled to be completed within the year, supplementary measures were discussed to maximize tangible outcomes for residents after completion. Gapyeong County plans to accelerate the expansion of daily infrastructure and regional development by directly listening to feedback from project sites and preparing immediate response measures.
