Emart is holding a Chuseok early reservation promotion until September 26, 2025.

During this period, customers who purchase gift sets with event cards can receive up to a 50% discount on selected items, and Shinsegae gift certificates worth up to 500,000 won will be given depending on the purchase amount. The gift sets have been designed with a focus on practicality, reflecting the current trend of high prices. For fruit gift sets, the quantity of early reservation sets in the 30,000 to 40,000 won price range, which are considered reasonably priced, has been increased by 20% compared to last year.

For Korean beef sets, Emart has launched new value-for-money options with distinctive features, while making efforts to maintain the prices of its main products. Although the price of whole Korean beef (before being divided into parts) has risen by about 20% year-on-year, Emart was able to freeze the price of its main Korean beef frozen short rib set by securing inventory in advance at its own meat processing center, the "Meat Center."

In the seafood category, Emart introduced new gift sets under 100,000 won, featuring okdom (red tilefish), a premium fish, and "okdu-eo," a fish similar in taste and appearance. The abalone set, which saw a 140% increase in sales during last year's Chuseok early reservation period, has had its promotional price either reduced by 10% or kept the same as last year. For processed products such as canned goods and seasonings, which are often purchased in bulk, the supply of sets in the 20,000 to 40,000 won range has been increased by 20%. For daily necessities, Emart has strengthened its lineup of ultra-value sets in the 10,000 to 20,000 won range to ease the burden of gift-giving. In addition, promotions such as 10+1 and 2+1 have been prepared, allowing customers to receive greater benefits when purchasing in bulk.

Meanwhile, warehouse discount store Traders Wholesale Club is also holding an early reservation promotion, offering up to a 50% discount when Shinsegae Points are accumulated.
