On the 24th, Governor Kim wrote on his social media, "On the first official day of my business trip to China, I actively toured Chongqing, the largest city in China." He continued, "First, I visited the last Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, met with the children of independence activists, and had meaningful conversations. It was an opportunity to reaffirm Gyeonggi Province's commitment to taking the lead in setting the record straight in Korean history."
Governor Kim Dongyeon of Gyeonggi Province posted a message and photo on his social media on the 24th.
He went on to say, "I held talks with the mayor of Chongqing and other city officials and signed an agreement for friendly cooperation." He added, "We agreed to expand cooperation not only in the economy but also in human exchanges, culture, and tourism."
In particular, he emphasized, "The discussions on the field of AI were so successful that all the companies from Gyeonggi Province who participated were satisfied."
He also shared, "For the final schedule, I visited 'Sevens Robotics,' a robotics company in Chongqing that President Xi Jinping also visited, to explore ways to collaborate with AI companies from Gyeonggi Province." He promised, "Before coming to China, I traveled all around Gyeonggi Province on the Daldal Bus, and now that I am in China, I will work even harder here and return with great results."
