Nudge Healthcare, a digital healthcare company, announced on September 24 that its diet habit-forming platform "Geniet" will introduce a food review feature. This new functionality aims to provide reliable food information through honest reviews written directly by users and to help foster healthy eating habits.
The newly added review feature consists of various categories, including purpose of consumption, time of consumption, cooking method, rating, photos and videos, and detailed reviews. Reviews are displayed in connection with search terms and can be viewed on both the food detail pages and the home screen. A new section called "Users' Honest Food Reviews" has been added to the home screen, where the top eight reviews that received the most hearts the previous day are updated daily. In the "Food Reviews" tab, users can easily see the latest reviews at a glance, making it easy to keep up with real-time trends.
This feature is available on both the Geniet app and website, allowing users to conveniently access it from both mobile and PC environments. As a result, user accessibility has been significantly enhanced.
Going forward, as more real user reviews accumulate, the reliability of food information is expected to increase, and community participation is also anticipated to become more active. To this end, Geniet plans to further advance the review structure by adding sophisticated evaluation methods such as attribute-based ratings, taste and texture tags, and health reaction records. The company also aims to strengthen content differentiation through food profile charts and keyword-based data, and to expand user engagement by linking with Cashwalk's challenge platform "Teamwork."
Park Jungshin, CEO of Nudge Healthcare, stated, "This new food review feature is significant in that it can improve the convenience and accuracy of food choices based on reliable data directly experienced by users," adding, "We will continue to expand services that provide practical assistance for dieting and health management through personalized recommendations and the development of a healthy community."
