According to the Hwasun County Council on September 24, this campaign was carried out as part of a promotional effort to raise awareness about improper solicitations and the exchange of money or gifts during the holiday season, and to spread a culture of integrity during the holidays.
On this day, county council members and staff from the council office participated together, pledging to practice integrity in their daily lives and promoting the importance of integrity to local residents and merchants. They also distributed integrity promotion leaflets at the entrance of the council building and encouraged active participation in complying with the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.
Chairman Oh Hyungyeol stated, "While complying with the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, I hope everyone in the county enjoys a generous and prosperous holiday by exchanging warm greetings and heartfelt kindness instead of gifts," adding, "The Hwasun County Council will continue to carry out council activities centered on integrity, communication, and consideration to build greater trust with our residents."
Meanwhile, the Hwasun County Council continues to take the lead in establishing a culture of integrity by consistently implementing various initiatives such as the annual "Lunar New Year and Chuseok Holiday Integrity Campaign," integrity education, and the Integrity Golden Bell quiz event.
