Set against the backdrop of Mukho's blue sea and beautiful natural scenery, the Mukho Lighthouse Nongoldamgil Festival is a local event that blends romance and relaxation with music, various performances, and hands-on experiences.

This year's festival features a rich program that both local residents and tourists can enjoy together. Stage performances include a magic show, a Nanta percussion performance, a traditional folk performance, and concerts by local singers. There will also be a singing contest for senior citizens from the Mukho area, in which residents participate directly, creating a stage that brings together different generations.

Hands-on programs include a family motto writing experience, a drawing activity featuring pollack from Deokjang Village, and a stamp mission event, all offering unique entertainment for families visiting the festival.

In addition, a flea market with participation from both local residents and merchants will be held, along with various local food booths featuring Mukho bread, grilled dried seafood, potato rice cakes, seasoned raw flounder, and a tasting corner for Mukho pollack, all of which are expected to add to the festival's excitement.

In particular, experiential programs linked to local attractions such as Nongoldamgil, Dojjaebigol Sky Valley, and Haerang Observatory have been prepared so that festival visitors can fully experience the unique atmosphere and charm of Donghae.

Lee Jaeguk, head of Mukho-dong, said, "As the festival marks its 7th year, I hope it will be a venue for unity among local residents and a memorable travel experience for tourists. We will do our utmost to ensure a safe and enjoyable festival."
