Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Younggi) announced on the 24th that, together with the Soulbrain Sharing Foundation, it will support young adults preparing for independence to help them transition into society and settle down in a healthy and stable manner.

Green Umbrella delivered 400 sets of the "First:Living Support Kit," each consisting of 25 essential household items such as mats, rice cookers, and dishes provided by the Soulbrain Sharing Foundation, to 400 young adults preparing for independence in the regions of Chungnam, Chungbuk, Daejeon, and Gyeonggi. The total value of the kits is approximately 317 million won.

The "First:Living Support Kit" was created to help young adults preparing for independence-those who have turned 18 and are about to leave protective facilities or family care-achieve stable independence and settle into society.

Since 2017, the Soulbrain Sharing Foundation has maintained a relationship with Green Umbrella, providing both regular and one-time donations, and has contributed more than 1.1 billion won in donations and goods to date. In particular, in April 2025, to mark its 39th anniversary and Family Month, the foundation provided over 7,200 childcare items (worth about 290 million won) and a donation of 10 million won, continuing its ongoing social contribution activities.

Lim Hyeok, Chairwoman of the Soulbrain Sharing Foundation, stated, "We hope to offer meaningful support to children and young adults from vulnerable backgrounds as they carve out their own lives in the world," adding, "We will continue to share and give back with Green Umbrella in the future."

Hwang Younggi, Chairman of Green Umbrella, said, "Thanks to our collaboration with the Soulbrain Sharing Foundation, young adults preparing for independence can now secure the necessities they need without worry, which is a great source of strength." He added, "Green Umbrella will continue to do its utmost to help these young adults embrace hope and achieve healthy independence."
