First-Ever Decalcomania Fireworks and New Drone Show Unveiled
Hanwha Corporation announced on September 24 that it will host the "Seoul International Fireworks Festival 2025" at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul on September 27.
This year’s theme is "Light Up Together," with the subtitle "Shining Together as One." Teams from three countries-Korea, Italy, and Canada-will participate. The Italian and Canadian teams will each present a 15-minute fireworks show, followed by the Korean team, Hanwha Corporation, which will stage a 30-minute grand finale under the theme "Golden Hour-Into the Shining Moment."

For the first time, a decalcomania-style fireworks show will be performed simultaneously by the international teams and the Korean team on both sides of Wonhyo Bridge. The festival will also feature a drone aerial view segment called "Time Slip," as well as new fireworks effects in square and crown shapes.
On-site, there will be promotional booths, hands-on programs, and a DJ after-party, all designed to encourage public participation. After the festival concludes, 1,200 Hanwha volunteers will conduct a "Clean Campaign."
Hanwha Corporation will deploy over 3,700 safety personnel in preparation for large crowds and will operate "Orange Safety," a smart safety management system based on telecommunications data. The Seoul Metropolitan Government will also implement measures to enhance visitor convenience, including the establishment of a comprehensive safety headquarters, additional temporary restrooms, and expanded waste collection facilities.
The fireworks show will be broadcast live on Hanwha’s official YouTube channel, "Hanwha TV," and visitors in nearby areas can enjoy the show with synchronized music through a dedicated app.
