BISTEP to Hold Seminar on "AI-Based Smartification Strategy for Busan Port"

7th R&D Planning Capacity Building Seminar
to Be Held at BEXCO on September 26

Busan Institute of Science and Technology Promotion (BISTEP), led by President Kim Youngbu, will hold the "7th R&D Planning Capacity Building Seminar" on September 26 at 3:10 PM in the small conference room of Exhibition Hall 2 at BEXCO. The seminar will focus on the theme "AI-Based Smartification Strategy for Busan Port."

Hyerim Bae, Dean of the Graduate School of Data Science at Pusan National University, will participate as a speaker. Researchers from companies, universities, and research institutes, as well as R&D project managers and Busan city officials, will gather to discuss the latest technological trends in port-related AI and strategies for advancing smartification.

President Kim Youngbu stated, "I hope this seminar will further strengthen AI strategy capabilities based on Busan Port," adding, "We will do our best to encourage continued interest and participation from local researchers in the monthly seminars that will continue through the end of the year."

The "Busan R&D Planning Capacity Building Seminar" is held monthly, each time focusing on a specific technology or policy field to strengthen regional R&D planning capabilities.
