[Today’s New Release] Modetour Launches Winter-Exclusive "Iceland Aurora" Themed Exhibition

Iceland is a Nordic country with a unique natural environment where volcanic terrain and glaciers coexist, making it a destination where visitors can experience a variety of natural wonders including the aurora, waterfalls, hot springs, and scenic coastlines. In particular, the period from November to March is considered the optimal time for aurora viewing, as the nights are long and temperatures are low, increasing the probability of witnessing the aurora.

This special exhibition has been designed to take advantage of the unique characteristics of each airline's routes, incorporating layover itineraries so that customers can select options according to their preferences and travel styles. For example, packages using Scandinavian Airlines include a day tour of major city attractions in Copenhagen, Denmark, during the layover. Packages using Korean Air feature a layover in London, with a one-night stay and key city sightseeing, allowing for a deeper urban experience.

The flagship product is the "Iceland Grand Tour 8 Days," which utilizes premium national carrier Korean Air, departing from Incheon and transiting through London. The entire itinerary is based on three-star hotel accommodations, with an upgrade to a four-star hotel for the one-night stay in London to enhance the quality of the trip. Meals and entrance fees to tourist attractions are all included, with a no-tip, no-option structure to minimize local expenses, and a no-shopping policy to allow travelers to focus fully on the travel experience itself.

The main itinerary covers the Golden Circle region, including Thingvellir National Park, Geysir, and Gullfoss Waterfall; the southern coast, featuring Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss Waterfalls, and Reynisfjara Beach; as well as the world-famous Blue Lagoon hot spring. At night, an aurora hunting tour is included, where guests board a ferry to observe the aurora at sea. If aurora viewing is not possible, a complimentary re-boarding opportunity is provided once. The package also includes a three-course gourmet meal with views of the Blue Lagoon, Icelandic traditional fermented yogurt Skyr, and British classic fish and chips, allowing travelers to enjoy both natural scenery and culinary delights.

Additionally, in the layover city of London, the itinerary includes tours of major city attractions such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, and Tower Bridge. This allows travelers to experience the iconic heritage of London, one of the world's leading tourist cities, and enjoy European urban culture beyond a simple transfer.

A Modetour representative stated, "Iceland is a special travel destination with unique geological features and natural phenomena that can only be experienced in winter," adding, "We plan to continue expanding our lineup of differentiated itineraries and premium theme products that reflect our customers' preferences and the latest travel trends."
