The post featured Lee Sunhee performing under the name 'DJ HEE' at the 'Ultra Korea 2025' electronic music festival, which took place on September 20 at Mapo Oil Reserve Base in Seoul.
At the time, she wore black attire, headphones, and glasses, and approached DJing with a serious attitude. She was also seen raising her hands and moving her body to the music, engaging with the audience.
It is known that Lee Sunhee has been interested in DJing for several years and has been practicing consistently.
Netizens responded with surprise and support, leaving comments such as, "It's amazing that Lee Sunhee is a DJ," "I want to see her on other stages," and "The performance was so much fun."
Lee Sunhee debuted in 1984 after winning the grand prize at the MBC Riverside Song Festival and has been loved for hit songs such as "To J," "Fate," "Meeting You Among Them," and "Ah! Those Days."
However, in 2023, she was investigated for allegedly using the corporate card of One Entertainment, which she founded, for personal expenses, as well as for embezzlement suspicions involving her former agency Hook Entertainment.
After being fined, she stated, "There were parts that were difficult to prove as business-related expenses. I am sorry for disappointing many fans," and added, "From now on, I will live without shame as a singer who sings."
