Suga Captures Attention
in All-Black Outfit with Guitar
BTS member Suga has drawn attention by posting a new update on social media for the first time in two years.
On September 22, Suga uploaded several photos to his social networking service (SNS) account without any accompanying message.
The photos show Suga dressed in black, holding an electric guitar and posing in a space surrounded by concrete walls. Suga did not add any captions or explanations to the post.
This marks Suga's return to social media after more than two years since August 2023. In September 2023, Suga began his alternative military service as a social service worker.
Meanwhile, in August of last year, he was summarily indicted for driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol and was fined 15 million won. Due to the controversy over drunk driving during his alternative service, Suga had not resumed his social media activities even after being discharged in June.
After the incident, Suga issued a handwritten letter of apology, stating, "My carelessness has caused hardship for everyone who cares about me. I will strive to never repeat such mistakes and live with remorse."

After his discharge, he apologized to fans via Weverse, saying, "I am sorry for causing disappointment and concern over what happened last year. Above all, it was very upsetting that I hurt the feelings of my fans."
In June, it was revealed that he had donated a large sum of 5 billion won to Severance Hospital to help establish a specialized treatment center supporting the treatment and social independence of patients with autism spectrum disorder, which attracted significant attention.
From March to June, he reportedly volunteered his talents by meeting children with autism spectrum disorder on weekends and participating in program development.
Meanwhile, all BTS members, including Suga, are currently working on a new album with the goal of making a full group comeback next spring after completing their mandatory military service.
