Seonhan Hospital announced on September 23 that Director Koh Kangyeol, an orthopedic specialist, was recently invited as a speaker at the "2025 Honam Foot and Ankle Symposium" held at Bitgoeul Jeonnam National University Hospital.

Director Koh delivered a presentation on the topic of "Learning Curve in MIS." He shared patient-tailored treatment strategies for minimally invasive hallux valgus surgery (MIS), based on his clinical experience and the latest academic evidence, and proposed approaches to maximize patients' functional recovery.

Koh Kangyeol is recognized as the leading expert in the field of minimally invasive hallux valgus surgery (MIS) in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, holding the record for the highest number of surgeries performed at a single institution and center.

At this symposium, he shared actual surgical cases and experiences related to minimally invasive hallux valgus surgery. Foot and ankle orthopedic professionals gathered to discuss the latest diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as future directions for development in the foot and ankle field.
