First, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation is responding to the low birth rate by creating a family room within its headquarters, providing childbirth supplies, and establishing work conditions that balance work and family life. The company is also expanding welfare systems for employees before and after childbirth. In addition, by providing various forms of support at each stage of childbirth and childrearing for its employees, the corporation is enhancing employee welfare and contributing to the spread of a family-friendly organizational culture.

Furthermore, the corporation’s initiatives to make North Gyeongsang Province a better place for children to play stand out among its low birth rate response projects. Its public rental housing supply projects, such as regionally tailored contract-type rental housing for young people and newlyweds, aim to reduce housing costs and create shared community spaces, thereby establishing an environment conducive to childrearing. These projects are representative of the corporation’s housing welfare efforts, considering both financial aspects and the residential environment.

Additionally, through its flagship project to address the low birth rate, the "Happy Dream Housing Construction Project," the corporation has established a hub-type childcare center with connectivity and accessibility to nearby childcare facilities. By utilizing these centers, it has implemented the "24-Hour Integrated Care System" unique to North Gyeongsang Province, actively responding to the low birth rate issue.

President Lee Jaehyuk stated, "Although proactive measures such as North Gyeongsang Province’s declaration of a 'war on low birth rate' have yielded results, with the region recording a birth rate higher than the national average, I still believe the situation remains very serious. Going forward, our corporation will continue to make every effort in line with North Gyeongsang Province’s low birth rate policies."
