Hampyeong County in South Jeolla Province is promoting its charm to the entire nation, starting with the Korea Chrysanthemum Festival. On September 23, Hampyeong County announced that it participated in the "2025 East-West Harmony Yeonghonam Culture, Arts, and Tourism Expo," which was held over three days from the 19th to the 21st at the Damyang County Sports Complex.

The county hosted a variety of events for official social media (Instagram and YouTube) subscribers, including a roulette game and a hands-on experience making hats featuring the tourism mascot Hwangbaki. Souvenirs were also distributed, attracting many visitors to the expo booth.

The county promoted its local attractions with a focus on the signature autumn festival, the Korea Chrysanthemum Festival. The festival, themed "Magical Chrysanthemum Land," will run for 17 days from October 24 to November 9, featuring eight new chrysanthemum sculptures such as a carousel, Ferris wheel, hot air balloon, and spinning cups, alongside 87 existing works including a magical castle, a nine-story pagoda, and dinosaur sculptures, creating a fantastic theme park atmosphere.

County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "The expo provided a great opportunity to introduce Hampyeong's abundant tourism resources and unique content to many visitors. We will continue to develop differentiated tourism content to make Hampyeong an even more attractive destination for tourists."

Meanwhile, the East-West Harmony Yeonghonam Culture, Arts, and Tourism Expo was organized to promote cultural, artistic, and tourism exchanges between the Yeongnam and Honam regions, as well as to foster regional harmony and mutual prosperity. Following the event held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province on September 5, this edition took place in Damyang County.
