This puppet show was designed to deliver proper methods for preventing and managing atopic dermatitis, as well as to enhance self-care skills, using educational content tailored to the children's level of understanding.
Allergic diseases are on the rise due to changes in living environments and socio-economic factors. Without proper treatment during childhood, these conditions can persist into adulthood. In response, Goryeong County organized the puppet show to help children acquire accurate information about such diseases from an early age.
"Dreaming Caterpillar" captivated the children with a variety of visuals and engaging direction, and participating students naturally learned the importance of preventing and managing atopy through the performance.
Han Hyeyeon, Director of the Public Health Center, stated, "We will continue to provide health education tailored to children's perspectives and do our utmost to help them grow into healthy adults."
