Participating in the 2025 National Assembly Legislative Expo on September 23-24
Promoting the Ulsan International Garden Expo and Bangudae Petroglyphs
On September 23 and 24, Ulsan City will participate in the "2025 National Assembly Legislative Expo" held at the Central Lawn Plaza of the National Assembly, promoting its future vision and major policy achievements.
This event, organized by the National Assembly Secretariat, brings together 110 organizations-including the National Assembly, government agencies, and local governments-to showcase outstanding legislation and policies, directly listen to the voices of the public, and connect them to the legislative process.
The 110 participating organizations include 14 central government ministries, 13 metropolitan local governments, 18 basic local governments, 23 public institutions, 5 assembly research groups, and 37 civic organizations.
During the event, Ulsan City will operate a promotional booth highlighting the following: Ulsan as the capital of artificial intelligence (AI), the 2025 Korea Local Era Expo, the 2028 Ulsan International Garden Expo and the enactment of a special law, and the Bangudae Petroglyphs, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.
In particular, Ulsan will present the current status and plans for building an industrial ecosystem based on industrial data and advanced AI under the theme "Ulsan, the Capital of AI." The city will also promote the upcoming "Korea Local Era Expo," scheduled to be held at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center in November.
Additionally, Ulsan will introduce its strategy to transform from an industrial city into an ecological garden city through the Ulsan International Garden Expo at Taehwagang National Garden, as well as efforts to enhance its international standing and regional development through the enactment of a special law.
Furthermore, the historical and cultural value of the Bangudae Petroglyphs, which were inscribed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in July, will also be presented to visitors.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "We have prepared this event to widely publicize Ulsan's growth potential as the capital of AI and to enable visitors to directly experience the city's achievements in industry, technology, culture, and history."
