KS Industry to Participate in 'KORMARINE 2025'... Unveiling Global After-Sales Service Network

KS Industry, a company specializing in the production and repair of marine cranes, announced on September 23 that it will participate in the 24th International Shipbuilding & Marine Exhibition (KORMARINE 2025), which will be held at BEXCO in Busan from October 21 to 24.

At this exhibition, KS Industry plans to showcase the current status of its global after-sales service network in the marine crane sector and focus its capabilities on the success of the MASGA (Marine & Shipbuilding Global Alliance) project, which is emerging as a key pillar of Korea-US economic cooperation. At its on-site booth, the company will provide detailed information about its customer support infrastructure, including cooperation models with major partners, service coverage by region, and emergency response systems.

In addition, the company is expected to see a full-fledged improvement in performance, driven by an increase in orders in the LNG carrier market. LNG carriers require a higher proportion of large cranes compared to general merchant ships, resulting in a relatively higher average selling price (ASP), which is anticipated to accelerate the pace of revenue and profitability improvement.

A KS Industry representative stated, "LNG carrier projects require high-spec equipment and precision construction, which gives us a clear competitive advantage in terms of pricing. Based on our technological capabilities and supply capacity, we are expanding a stable order base. This order momentum is expected to be reflected sequentially in our quarterly results, driving steady growth."

Furthermore, the company expects that, as interest in utilizing Arctic routes increases due to climate change, the domestic shipbuilding industry will also attract attention in the global icebreaker market. The representative added, "We have previously supplied cranes for Korea's icebreaking research vessel Araon, and with the increasing trend of icebreaker orders due to climate change, we will further advance our product portfolio in line with the eco-friendly transition of the global shipping and energy markets and the growth in LNG cargo volume. We will focus on maximizing profitability by enhancing production efficiency and strengthening quality competitiveness."
