Bithumb Signs MOU with Trump Family's "World Liberty Financial"

Bithumb announced on September 23 that it signed a strategic business agreement (Memorandum of Understanding, MOU) with global blockchain financial company World Liberty Financial (WLF) at the Bithumb Financial Tower in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on September 22.

World Liberty Financial is a digital financial company co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, the sons of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The company’s governance token, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), is actively traded on major global exchanges including Bithumb and Binance.


Previously, Jaewon Lee, CEO of Bithumb, met directly with Eric Trump, co-founder of WLF. Through this agreement, Bithumb has established an official partnership with World Liberty Financial.


The signing ceremony was attended by Jaewon Lee, CEO of Bithumb, Kibum Kim, President, Youngjin Kim, Vice President, and Jungki Yoo, Director. From World Liberty Financial, Zak Folkman, co-founder, and Ryan Fang, Chief Growth Officer, were present. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to collaborate on discovering new business opportunities and strengthening trust among global investors.


Jaewon Lee, CEO of Bithumb, stated, "This collaboration with WLF will be an important milestone in enhancing Bithumb's global competitiveness," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our strategic network going forward."


Meanwhile, on the same day, Bithumb also discussed strategic cooperation with stablecoin issuer Circle, further expanding its global network.
