The 20th Asia Construction Grand Awards

Kumho Construction has been selected as the recipient of the Asia Economy Representative Award in the brand category at this year's Asia Construction Grand Awards. The company received high praise for introducing an emotionally resonant residential space through its new housing brand, 'Artera,' and for raising consumer satisfaction with residential environments.


Artera is a new residential brand launched by Kumho Construction for the first time in over 20 years. The name combines 'Art,' 'Terra' (land), and 'Era,' reflecting Kumho Construction's philosophy of transforming homes-spaces for living-into art on the land.

Through Artera, Kumho Construction aims to innovate residential spaces where nature, people, and space exist in harmony. The first letter of Artera and the brand's symbol mark, 'A,' embodies the integration of art and Kumho Construction's advanced architectural technology, expressing the company's commitment to creating a progressive residential culture.


Accordingly, the company launched its own landscaping specialty brand, Artsis, and developed the Artera exterior design for building facades to differentiate the brand. The Artera exterior design moves away from standardized apartment facades, instead forming three-dimensional surfaces through mass segmentation and expressing individuality by creating differentiated structures with various materials. The exterior of the buildings is painted in navy, the signature color of the Artera brand, to reinforce brand identity.


As this emotionally artistic residential space has resonated with consumers, Kumho Construction's Artera ranked fifth in the apartment brand reputation survey by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute in June. This achievement came just about a year after the brand's launch. Since first entering the top 10 in the reputation rankings in July of last year, the brand has steadily increased its power. Market response has also been enthusiastic. Starting with 'Goyang Janghang Artera,' followed by 'Geomdan Artera Xi' and 'Cheongju Technopolis Artera Phases 1 and 2,' all existing complexes sold out quickly, proving the brand's value.

Recently, Kumho Construction has been working to further increase customer satisfaction through the 'Eco Delta City Artera' project, located at 4680-4 Gangdong-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan. This development consists of 16 buildings, each with 2 underground floors and 16 above-ground floors, offering 1,025 units with exclusive areas of 59 square meters and 84 square meters. Reflecting the Artera brand philosophy, the project focuses on creating an 'emotional community' facility where residents can enjoy both art and relaxation in their daily lives. The top floor will feature premium community facilities such as a sky lounge and guest house, while the center of the complex will include a sunken community plaza that combines water features and a media facade.


A Kumho Construction representative stated, "We aim to grow beyond simple housing to become a brand that adds artistic value."
