Jangsu County to Hold "Youth Night Market" on the 25th to Celebrate Youth Day

Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province will hold the "4th Youth Night Market" event to commemorate Youth Day at the outdoor performance hall of Jangsu Hannuri Center, starting at 6 p.m. on September 25.

According to the county on September 22, this event is hosted and organized by the Jangsu County Youth Council. Based on the creative planning of local youth, a variety of food, entertainment, and performance programs have been prepared, creating a night festival where residents and tourists can come together and enjoy.

The celebratory performances will feature hip-hop, bands, and dance teams, offering a stage full of youthful energy and vibrancy. A youth singing contest will also be held, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their talent and passion. Outstanding participants will be awarded Jangsu Love Gift Certificates and generous prizes.

Throughout the venue, experience booths will be set up where visitors can enjoy retro games such as classic arcade machines, darts, and claw machines. The food truck zone has expanded compared to last year, with a total of eight trucks participating. They will offer a wide variety of menu items, including chicken skewers, takoyaki, bun cha, steak, churros, and shaved ice, sure to satisfy the tastes of visitors.

On the day of the event, a lucky draw will be held for food truck customers and experience booth participants, with local specialty products and regional store gift certificates offered as prizes.

County Mayor Choi Hunsik stated, "This night market, filled with the passion and creativity of our youth, was a special stage where residents and tourists came together," adding, "We will continue to provide generous support so that young people can pursue their dreams and settle down in our region."

The Youth Night Market is expected to become more than just a marketplace, establishing itself as a meaningful festival where young people and residents come together to experience the vitality and new possibilities of the local community.
