Shinhan Bank Establishes Dedicated Team to Support Government's "Ultra-Innovative Economy" Projects...Recruiting Specialists

Shinhan Bank announced on September 22 that it will establish a dedicated support organization in line with the government’s 15 Leading Projects for Ultra-Innovative Economy, which aim to strengthen national competitiveness.

The new organization will focus on the following: conducting research and analysis for each of the 15 project areas; discovering promising companies for government investment and excellent firms within the value chain; strengthening industrial analysis and review support functions; and developing financial support programs for the ultra-innovative economy.

To this end, Shinhan Bank will launch an agile team to enhance foresight in the ultra-innovative economy and provide effective growth support, and will begin recruiting specialized personnel starting today.

The recruitment will target experts in industrial analysis for advanced materials, components, and renewable energy sectors, specifically for positions in industry research and review support. The industry research role will involve analyzing domestic and international industry issues and linkages, as well as conducting credit risk and rating assessments. Candidates with backgrounds or experience in energy, AI, bio-pharmaceuticals, or chemistry are eligible. The review support role will analyze industry trends related to the 15 Leading Projects for Ultra-Innovative Economy, support investment and credit decision-making, and provide industry competency training to the bank’s credit reviewers. Applicants must have at least five years of experience at leading companies in relevant industries or experience in venture capital investment review. Applications will be accepted from today until October 13.
